Doula Care!

Bella Vita was founded by Frances Charkowick, Certified Birth Doula, as a means for providing high quality, compassionate care for women at a pivotal moment in their lives. Serving Long Island and parts of Queens, Bella Vita seeks to ensure that birthing women have 1) knowledge on the latest evidence-based clinical birth practices and their legal rights and options as birthing women; and 2) the resources needed to make informed decisions and a
customized birth plan.   Bella Vita’s philosophy acknowledges that women are the best decision makers about their bodies; and that birth is a natural and deeply personal process rather than a medical emergency. Take out the last sentence.
